Yale-NUS College I'dECO, Singapore Regina is a third-year Environmental Studies major in Yale NUS, and was also previously a facilitator in the 4th cycle of CPA. She is particularly interested in the intersection between religion philosophy and environmental justice. Regina herself is involved in multiple environmental projects in the region, and she wishes to share her learning and cross-cultural experience in Southeast Asia to built regional collaboration and empower youth sustainability leaders. |
Ethel Pang
Yale-NUS College I'dECO, Singapore Ethel is currently a sophomore in Yale-NUS, and was also previously engaged in the 4th cycle of CPA as a facilitator. In her freshmen year, she found herself increasingly drawn to environmental issues and the green movement, and Chili Padi was one of the big things that helped to kick start her environmental journey. She is particularly interested in exploring the intersectionality of various social issues, being personally interested in gender issues, mental health and wellness and active citizenry. |
Jing Ying Yeo
Yale-NUS College I'dECO, Singapore Jing Ying, who is rarely seen without pink/hello kitty, loves ecology and environmental philosophy, and her love for nature is what grounds her in life. She is an alumni of the first CPA in 2016 and is now a second-year student at Yale-NUS College. This will be her second time as a facilitator for CPA! She hopes to be able to inspire and empower more youths to become environmental leaders, and continues to lead a team of passionate people for an initiative called PublicAction at environmental group LepakinSG. |
Ning Xinran
Yale-NUS College I'dECO, Singapore Xinran is a freshman in Yale-NUS who is excited about bringing together environmentalism and intra-personal understanding and growth, both of which she believes are increasingly needed in today’s world. As an alumni of the second run of CPA, she hopes to give back to this programme as a facilitator and member of this year’s organising team. |
Nafla Binte Mohamed Yousuf
National University of Singapore, Singapore Nafla is a Freshman at NUS Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences. As a previous participant of the 4th round of CPA, she is now returning as a facilitator. She is interested in Geography and wants to overcome social justice inequalities in the Environmental scene. She aims to ensure an inclusive learning environment in CPA 5 and is looking forward to meeting all of the participants! |
Yi Qian
Yale-NUS College I'dECO, Singapore Yi Qian is a freshman in Yale-NUS College. She likes walking around green spaces, drawing and watching Youtube videos. She enjoys learning more about plants and animals, and hopes to be able to help others discover their love for the environment and the world around them. |
Amanda Chen
Yale-NUS College I'dECO, Singapore Amanda, currently a freshman at Yale-NUS College, has been avidly passionate about environmentalism since she was very young. She is particularly interested in addressing the role of animal agriculture in climate change and promoting environmental education. Through CPA 2019, she hopes to inspire the youth to be more environmentally conscious and motivate them to take action. |
Rui Zhe Goh
Yale-NUS College, Singapore Rui Zhe is a fourth-year philosophy major at Yale-NUS. He loves thinking about the intersection between environmental issues and social theory. He’s passionate about education and hopes to challenge the participants of CPA 5 to think critically about the relationship between the environment and their identities. In his spare time, Rui Zhe likes to hike, read and play tchoukball. |

Bening Kalimasada A. K.
University of Indonesia Indonesia Bening is a sophomore at the University of Indonesia and majoring in Environmental Engineering. She was a participant of CPA2 in 2017, and kickstarted a project titled "Notice Me, Takakura-senpai", which revolves around food waste and is still active even now. Bening is active in environmental and social projects. She joins Teens Go Green Indonesia as the research member. She is also the facilitator of Lumajang Children Forum, the founder of Wekid Creator project that concerns in the internet use by children, and an organizer of Technique Informal School whose activity is teaching scavenger’s children. Bening has a faith that inspiration is an important thing in life to make people more impactful. She hopes that in CPA 5 everyone can inspire and get inspired by one another and can be more impactful by taking part in solving environmental issues. |
Hafsoh Khofifah
Indonesia University of Education, Indonesia Hafsoh is stydying in Indonesia University of Education and majoring in Community Education. She was an organizer in the 4th CPA Program, now she continues her experience as an organizer for the 5th cycle. Her first environmental project was the iGreen Project in 2018 where she developed a village in Ciumbuleuit, Bandung, Indonesia. Not just an environmental enthusiast, she is an active public speaker and takes part in various social projects. Currently, she is a vice president in the leadership organization, AIESEC in Bandung. She looks forward to not just sharing her experience but to learn together with the participants in the 5th Chili Padi Academy. |
Paras Ayu Cinta
University of Indonesia Indonesia Paras is a fourth-year student at the University of Indonesia majoring in environmental engineering. At present, Paras is on her way to complete her final project in the field of solid waste. Paras has served as the deputy chair of the environmental field for the CARTALA FTUI, a club in the civil engineering department at the University of Indonesia which concerns about environmental problems. Paras has also taken part in a cross-cultural program called JENESYS 2.0 in Japan. Paras has also worked on the aspect of public speaking proofed by the silver medal- winning for the Indonesian national debate competition. Paras is currently active in participating in environmental-related events, environmental innovation competitions, and actuating the knowledge she has gained in her major. |

Dave Ang
University of the Philippines Diliman, Philippines Dave is a student from the University of the Philippines Diliman currently taking up Community Nutrition. An environmental advocate, and an aspiring nutritionist and dietician. Growing up in one of the most biodiverse country inspired him to dedicate his life for wildlife conservation through environmental education. Aside from life amongst humans, he is also interested in forwarding environmental sanitation that contributes to the nutritional health of the communities. |
Chloe Abrasada
University of Philippines, Philippines Chloe is a freshman from the University of the Philippines Manila currently taking up Occupational Therapy. She was a delegate of Chili Padi Academy 4 in 2019. Growing up in a small province, she has always been exposed to the effects of environment degradation - especially amongst farmers to simple everyday people. Her love for the environment is sparked by a will and yearning to serve the country and the next generations. She believes that though one's steps may be small, they're still steps, nonetheless. |
Jim Bulan
Philippines Jim graduated with a degree in Psychology. He is currently working as a senior research officer in an NGO that gives consultancy services to social enterprises. To date, he is overseeing social enterprises in the sectors of agriculture, farming and eco-tourism. His big dream is to have his own school one day. |

Tan Kai Ren
University of Malaya, Malaysia Kai Ren graduated from the University of Malaya with a BSc in Ecology and Biodiversity. He is passionate about sustainable living and nature education. He has organised citizen science activities to encourage urban communities to understand our natural environment better through interacting with them. He is looking forward not only to share his experiences and thoughts, but learning from other participants of CPA 2020! |
Pragashini
Malaysia Praga is a Device Software Engineer in Intel, she has volunteered in many education related works to bring programming to school students and guide students to learn and explore in the world of open source. Currently she teaches at the special school for deaf on weekends. She wishes that more young people will be involved with the community and bring great ideas. |
